wrist tattoo

I think wrist tattoos are beautiful and the most innocent-looking among all kinds of tattoos. Having one gives you a daily reminder of what you have permanently inked at your wrist (and I meant that in a good way) and motivates you to stick to its meaning. It means that you don't take the pain for granted when you got the tattoo in the first place. Me? I would love to get one someday :) ..when I can overcome the fear of getting it hehehe.. What are your thoughts on wrist tattoos?

SEM 1 [e.n.d]

I've been meaning to post about the last day of our Semester 1 as TESLians in IPG Tawau.

It has been a rollarcoaster of a semester. 

It still feels like it was only recently that I cried to my roommate about how terribly homesick I was about family.

How I struggled to get used to the new surroundings in Tawau.

How I would cry because everything just didn't seem right and how everyone in my class was not the same like my old classmates.

How I filled my evenings by washing my clothes by hand everyday just so I wouldn't feel the emptiness of my new life *ehemm,ehemm*

I can only laugh and do the facepalm everytime I remember my condition back then. Kinda pathetic :/

Everything is back to normalcy now. I'm currently updating my blog in Bullfrog Kitchen Cafe cos I was tired of feeling like a dead driftwood, continuosly checking other people's blog  and updates on Facebook in the dark. So I came outside for the fresh air (now filled with cigarette smoke and the sound of billiard balls knocking each other).

Anyway, I'm glad I met new friends during my Sem 1. So many things have happened in the period of 6 months..

Like they say, it's only the beginning of everything. I have mixed feelings about next next year. Hopefully I'll be strong to face everything that'll come my way and my friends that will be by my side when I need them. 

stanie's (lelen's sister) wedding

Had a blast attending the wedding reception. I guess everyone was tired cos it was the first day of the Hand Ball course but we manage to have fun even though we were there for just a short time. Saw loads of pretty,good-looking people. Everyone looked amazing especially Stanie and Lelen,not forgetting Nana. 

Met Lelen's bestie, Hunneh Hamzah for the first time and I greeted her warmly. She's really nice :)

We rented a car to send Lelen to the town so she could try the dress for her sister's wedding at a bridal. Went to have a look around the bridal shop and berani mati ja snap gmbr di sna cos Lion said taking photos were not allowed haha :P

Throwback: my wall

This was how my wall looked liked after I pasted all those cut-outs from the magazines earlier last year (approx. February 2010).

No, I did not do it for "Thinspiration" ok.

I did it cos the wall in my room looked bare and I needed to do something to it so badly and this was what I did.
Got the inspiration after looking through Rossa Sev's pictures (forgot sda which one) and thought it was actually a great idea. 

Didn't even cost me a single cent and it turned out nicely.

Bad news is,my wall no longer looks like that. Some of the cut-outs has already been ripped off (evil lil bro, man. don't ever let them inside your room) and falling apart cos the glue isn't so strong anymore. Plus, my dad accidentally sprayed hair oil on the wall the other day cos he thought it was some kind of Ambi Pur stuff. 

Therefore, my wall now looks 2x more disgusting than it did back then.

Hoping to repaint my room when I get back this end-of-sem holidays :D

how's your saturday?

Went to town today. Withdrew money to pay for the kursus bola jaring & bus to go home. Walked all the way to Indo Cafe from BSN and had brunch there.

 they make the best mango juice :D (although it was more like a smoothie rather than a juice but I ain't complaining 'bout that)

this is what a Chicken Chop Rice looks like in Indo Cafe. The chicken tastes more like deep-fried breadcrumbs ugh. Too bad their food's not so good.

Saw Lelen,her mom and her lil sis while we were eating.

After that we visited the stores in Fajar. Manage to take a picture of one of it. This place sells really pretty clothes & shoes :)

Stopped by at Watsons then at Vincci cos Lion wanted to buy new sandals. Somewhere along the way, I manage to buy lithium batteries for my camera.

Then we continued walking all the way to Pasar Tanjung to buy dry foodstuff to bring back home.

Tiba-tiba datang selera mau makan mangga. Beli terus sma belacan skali.

Did a whole lot more store browsing after that. Met up with Jos, Borg & Bando in front of Milimewa. Hung out with them for a while.

Lelen won The Best Dressed Award. I believe that it was not only the dress that charmed the judges but her seductive catwalk and poses during the catwalk round.

I was scared to death when the games session began because they picked your name randomly for the Dance & Truth or Dare games.

Kacit & Tuan. They started off with a clubbing song ;)

Patrick & Dyana. We were expecting a KPOP number but no. The song turned out to be a Twist song (if my memory didn't fail me).

Lion & Obi. Got a slow dance song.

Joseline picked "Dare" over "Truth". All she had to do was drink 5 glasses of the cordial.

Bibi chose "Truth". Think it was something to do what was the dumbest (or was it embarassing?) thing she ever did.
