myra :)

{ Form 4 }
Michelle (her bestfriend) and Myra :)

This be my main biatch back in the old school days.
Got to know her better when I was in Form 4 cos that was the time when we sat next to each other in class.
Crazy times indeed. Too many good memories including the time when we got involved in the Water Vision project and also English Drama Competition :)
Being good friends with her means you have to be up for anything and have the capacity to go crazy or wild. I remember that one time when she brought us to stay out in a hotel @1Borneo just for fun.
I think that was the year when I got "up for anything" trait :P

{ Form 5. }

Saw her at KKIA yesterday while I was going for my flight to Tawau, which is why I made this post about her cos having the chance to meet her even for a brief moment brought up memories. Didn't have time to catch up with her though. She's also starting her Semester 2 for Mass Comm. at Taylor's College. Glad she made the choice to take up that course cos it suits her well and she got to do so much interesting stuff last year :) Plus, she's happily taken by Scott Daryl so life's is going perfectly fine for her right now :D

Hope we ge the chance to meet each other some time c:

P.S Maybe I should dedicate Mondays to reminisce about old schoolmates in my blog. Should give me something to do when I'm doing nothing on these days hehe :]

of shoes, bags and a tattoo parlour affair

Went to KK by myself today cos I had errands to do for my good friends a.k.a Operation Individium. Took the bus from Donggongon to CP and reached there around 11 am. Also hunted for shoes and bags everywhere that I swear my right ankle felt dislocated from all the walking. Couldn't find anything that I wanted and even if I did, those shit costs the moon or didn't have my foot size. It was a miracle to even pull myself from the shoe shop yet alone resist stealing anything from there haha. I had my eye on the Everlast sneakers, Atlanta..Patapata..Ipanema flip-flop wedges and the list goes on and on :(
Found many pretty bags around CP but most of their prices were indirectly proportional to its quality..in a bad way.. A few of the pretty bags I saw were from the Marie Claire range and they are just so gorgeous. Almost all  of 'em costs below RM100 but I think that price is still outrageous.
I tried to find shoes like the ones Lion wear to classes (black, closed wedges) but they are so fucking rare to find and when I did, they only have size 5 every single time and all I could think of was 'what kind of fuckery is this, you guys are supposed to at least have size 9.' Le sigh.

What's not to love? Everything is just perfect about this wedges except that it was only available in size 5.

stuff from Kaison that I wish I could bring to Tawau but can't because of the luggage weight limit.
KAISON, please open up a new branch it Tawau. I swear everyone will go crazy with all your products.

{lemon chicken with rice}
Had late lunch around 2.30 pm.

There was a mini bridal fair @Palm Square and these dresses caught my eye.

Cute but these sadly goes to my list of 'Things Not Worth Buying At The Moment.'

Had nothing else to do cos I thought it was still too early to go back so I decided to roam around and I found this tattoo parlour called the "Culture Shock". Went in and talked to the people inside. They were super-friendly and everything :D I asked around about the prices, sessions and what-not. In other words, we had a nice conversation. They even gave me tips & advices on tats LOL which I think is awesome. One of them gladly allowed me to snap a pic of her tattoo which she got about 3 days ago :) didn't get to snap her calf piece though,it was beautifully done and she said that it needs a bit more colouring.

Oh yes, when I was on the bus waiting for the green light..this little girl was peering outside her car window with the hair rollers, and she was like,"you jelly?" at us.. haha cute kid :D I bet she's gonna be a one sassy fearless bastard :*

design your album cover challenge!

Photo Challenge: DESIGN YOUR ALBUM COVER
1. Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3. Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use a photo editor to put it all together.
5. Post it in your blog :D

Author's note:
1. I got Samaneri as the name of my band which means a novice Buddha nun LOL.
2. For the title of my first album, I got Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's quote. Check it out haha.
3. My album cover is pretty :D credits to the photographer~
4. Photoshop it all together!
5. Done~!
i like how it turns out :3

varsity fever

I have a feeling that varsity jackets will be the next big thing. I've been seeing a handful of people at KK wearing varsity jackets. Plus, there's an online shop in FB selling varsity jackets and its receiving a lot of attention from online shoppers.
I don't know if this trend will be as big as the OWL accesories phenomenon. I think varsity jackets are cool. I just hope it won't be too overfollowed like what happened to SUPRA lol.

I'm  looking forward to the bright side of the Varsity fever (if it does happen la) which is how easy one can obtain varsity jackets. Like how easy it has become to find an owl necklace at any mall these days.

I've only got one so far but its so big loool so I only wear it when I'm inside my room.

internet junkie t-shirt

Wanted to buy one of the Individium t-shirts when I first laid my eyes on them at CP while I was waiting for someone. Finally bought one (so did Leona haha) last Saturday. At first I bought the Daydreamer t-shirt but then I saw the Internet Junkie and asked for a swap :) This t-shirt is worth buying cos it's sort of limited edition (can only be found at this one shop at CP and nowhere else in Sabah) plus the design is cool :D
Check out their website for more info :

The design at the back. Love it <3

a funny thing about love

A Funny Thing About Love by Erin Downing.

Bought this with Leona the other day at Popular,Citymall. Only paid RM11, all thanks to BB1M.
I have only begun to read it yesterday.
'sokay I guess.

house hunting

My parents and I have been on a house hunt cos my aunt from Sarawak is moving here where she'll be working in a bank at Inanam. Don't know all the details but what I know is that my aunt is bringing her son along who will be schooling here and she also brought her dog along. One of the things that she wants for her new home is security and she's also considering the distance from her new home to her new workplace.

not much but it's better than doing nothing

KK seems vacant today due to the CNY holidays. Not much traffic on the streets which is pleasant. Went to Suria Sabah but didn't do much there (probably because I went there with my parents). Bought a keyboard protective film and browsed at random shops. Stumbled upon Holika Holika and fell in love with their stuff but I've got no cash to burn there since most of their products reached nearly RM100 and above.
Then I went to Heart Attack which was probably a stupid idea to do when you have less than RM20 in your pocket and no ATM is nearby.

Late morning seaside view from the Suria Sabah food court balcony

Drove to Putatan afterwards but the shop that we were planning to go was closed so decided to check out the One Place Mall.

One of the tailor/textile shop there. Not many choices of fabrics to choose from.

bag I spotted at the mall. I hope I can still find this if I can't find any bags in Tuaran.

The mall is still empty and only a few shops are occupying some lots there. Not much to do there except getting lost in a maze of empty shop lots. Looking forward to go there when its finally bustling with business.
